Different Types of Navel Rings

First and foremost, there are the navel rings known as captive bead rings. Captive bead rings are a full circle, usually made of stainless steel, which is fitted with a bead that is held in place by tension. The tension on the ball is what keeps it captive, hence the name. These are commonly used because they look good and can be personalized with different color balls, logos, shapes, and sizes.
There is also barbell navel rings. Barbell navel rings are simply a piece of metal, usually stainless steel, which is fitted on either end with a ball that is screwed on. These barbells are a lot of fun to wear because they can be personalized with balls of different shapes, sizes, colors, and may even include logos of favorite teams and the like.
In addition to simple barbell navel rings there are also curved barbells. These are just like barbells, in that they are made of metal and have a ball that screw on either end, but they are curved. Some are gently curved and others are curved into the shape of a U. Either type is a great option and again, you can personalize with different shapes, sizes, colors, and logos.
Dangles are very popular right now. These are navel rings that dangle, much like dangle earrings, and give a more dramatic look for the person wearing them. You cannot go wrong with dangle navel rings; you just need to be sure that they are not going to get caught on clothing and the like. Dangles often involve gem stones, bright colors, and eye catching designs that will really allow you to personalize your look.
As you can see, there are belly button rings for everyone! You can pick and choose the types that appeal to you most. You might find that there is a different ring for every day.
