Fighting fitness?
Okay, so I can probably last about 1 min max before I start losing form, breathing heavier than normal, and generally just feeling the effects of the fight.
And I’m talking 1 min of attack.
How do I built my fitness up to be able to not feel drained so early in the round. I mean, I can go fine until the end of the round, I just want to be able to feel really good and moderately fresh throughout the whole round, rather than tapering off towards the end.
What sort of exercises should I be doing for both Muay Thai and BJJ (I do both, but not together).
P.S I’m not really a fan of distance running, it bores me to death.

The key to increasing your level of stamina is to work on your cardiovascular system. Running and spinning (stationary bicycle) will help you increase your stamina level. Another benefit will be the ability to burn calories more efficiently.
You don’t have to run a long distance to increase yoru stamina; try running in quick 50 meter springs; like jog for 10 seconds, then sprint 50 meters, then go back to jogging, then sprint another 50 meters.
Try that.
