I think i am going to start fly fishing …?
I may start fly fishing, guys!!! Wooo!!! I’m going to need some recommendations for some beginner stuff … a fly rod & reel (under $50 if there are any) … a small, fly box … I am fishing for stocked rainbow trout and bluegill by the way … i also want a wader … and a nice beginner fly fisher website …

I have left you some information on your other question regarding flies etc-i hope you receive it.
Now for a fly rod and reel for $50-that’s going to be hard, i realize that we are an economic downturn so money will be prioritized for other things, however for around $100 you will get a slightly better combo that should last a while longer, buying cheap gear is a false economy as it only needs to be replaced.
This rod would suit your style of fishing a lot better, i also suggest going just for rainbows to start with, ignore the bluegills as they will require a lighter rod

Match the rod with a reel like this and you have a reasonably priced fly rod combo.

You could also try this as a combo, although having cast both these and the orvis i prefer the action of the Orvis

I took the liberty of taking this from a previous answer i gave, in short you need a WF line and in a floating density, this will cover 99% of your fishing needs when starting out, intermediates etc can be useful but arent needed at first, when you become better at fly fishing you may then feel the need to purchase more line densities.
As for fly lines, well you have a VERY wide choice, depending on what your fishing for? a WF will suit almost all fishing needs-the density is up to you-floating-sink tip, intermediate, the list goes on.
As for brands of fly line then go with the best you can afford as it really is the most important part of a good cast, RIO, Orvis, Airflo, SA, Cortland all make good lines.
I would recommend the Cortland 444 WF line, along with the Airflo Ridge line-both offer excellent casting. Finally another great line for distance is the RIO outbound.
