I’ve been thinking of maybe using a peacock fan instead of a bouquet when i walk down the aisle. something like this,

my dress is very 1940s inspired and the atmosphere is not very formal. we’re just trying to have a fun evening. would it work? have you seen any other bride do something similar?
As a floral designer, I have made arrangements incorporating a fan for the bride & bridesmaids. She was very pleased with it, and I thought it was nice too.
Your choice for a peacock fan sounds very very nice, and goes well with a vintage dress and/or theme! Great idea and unique too. If you’re considering the peacock fan, what do you think of adding a very simple 5/8″ wide satin ribbon as an embellishment [secured at the base of the handle area] one that is long and the loops drape?
