I made a poem about martin luther king. It was too long so I put as much as I could?
He was born in segregation
Just for the color of his skin
But it really wasn’t Martin’s fault
That he was his mother’s kin
He went to separate schools
And drank from different fountains
Followed harsher rules
Forced to climb up mountains
And then he came back down
And he saw to his dismay
That nothing here had changed
Not on this planet anyways
And then he looked around
And then he said with glee
“This ain’t the way that the world is supposed to be”
He walked across the world,
Giving out public speeches
All the way from New York
To the California beaches
He got jailed many times
Just because he spoke his mind
And he struggled everyday
Just to get through the daily grind
But he wouldn’t stop now
And he wouldn’t stop later
Some thought that nothing could be worse
Some thought that nothing could be greater
He knew just what he wanted
And he knew just how to get it
Be persistent with his dreams
And never ever quit
Then one day he had a dream
