If you get a tan in Arizona – why is the tan orange?
I have noticed for years that people who get a tan in Arizona always end up with an orange/brown color on their skin. In Arizona we do not get a nice dark brown tan, there is always an orange color to the skin.
I especially noticed this today when I watched Regis and Kelly. Kelly just came back from Arizona with a beautiful tan – the orange skin kind of tan. Even my Grandchild asked why her skin was orange.
I am sure it has something to do with the sun and maybe the rays of the sun, but I definitely cannot explain this one. I am really curious now as to why this happens.

I live in Arizona and never turn orange, lmao! I dont know where you got that idea, my guess is she used one of those tanning sprays or something to give the illusion she had gotten a tan.
I dont lay out and tan, but I do get color just from being in the sun but its always a golden brown color not orange and I personally havent seen any orange Arizona people.
