What kind of job a can a guy find in texas, with a felony, that does not qualify for RIO?

I know people say go into biz for yourself and just be honest about your conviction it goes a long way, but really they don’t care. Its on your record and they won’t accept the liability. A court appointed atty lied and told me my best bet was to take “deferred adjudication” when I did not even do the crime. I did and it was dismissed. Now I can’t get a job to save my life. No matter where i go or what I do it is always a problem. I wish I wasn’t such a dumb kid and knew a little about the law and being in trouble cause I never did this and took the “states” advice. Well I can’t cry about it now I feel there is no hope. I can honestly say I hate the “great” state I am from for destroying my life. If there is anything I can do out there please let me know about it. If not I hope the rest of the 3rd class citizens like myself can create a society of our own without the mainstreams approval.

If their is any type of construction ongoing in you area most companies do not do background checks, if you do not have experience you may have to take a laborers job while you establish a trade, another option would be a trade school and learn a trade in one of the construction trades and with the diploma you are going to get a job, there is financial assistance available and you could find that out from one of the many trade schools or community colleges in Texas.~
