So the wimps run slicks,why can’t they get tires with a tread on them?
Just because the dorks don’t have to turn right except 2 or 3 races a year. Let them get out and and run in an open cockpit car with all the track garbage fly up in their faces.

“Busch Series Would Use Rain Tires at Montreal and the Glen: The Busch Series will compete in the rain, if necessary, in its two upcoming road-course events, Busch Series Director Joe Balash confirmed Friday. Goodyear will bring rain tires to both the Aug. 4 event in Montreal and the Aug. 11 event in Watkins Glen. Balash said the series is committed to getting both of those events completed on their scheduled race date. They didn’t need them but were ready too.
Secondly, stock cars are too heavy to use rain tires on an oval because the tires are too small for 3400 pounds because it’s a stock car and that’s how they want it! Not an open wheel car that weighs half and has twice the tire.
Thirdly, Who wants to race in the rain anyway? And who the hell want’s track garbage flying up in there face?
That’s why stock car’s have a windshield. And a windshield wiper. Who’s the dork here?
