Best headphones for the Tungsten C?
I have a Tungsten C PDA and recently bought the program to watch videos on it. I plan on using it while flying however the Tungsten uses 2.5mm headphones which the only ones I’ve used have crappy sound quality and only one headphone. I’m wondering if there’s a good 2.5 mm headphone or a converter so I can use my ipod headphones. Thanks.
Some years ago I bought a 2.5mm to 3.5mm plug converter in RadioShack for a few dollars. I’ve never tried listening to music through it, so can’t attest to the quality, but it can be done. You should give it a try.
If you’re planning to watch videos on an airplane (or other high noise environment) I recommend you get a pair or headphones that are the “sound isolation” kind (or whatever they are called officially). Those are the really small ones that look like ear plugs and fit in your ear canal.
They are really good at blocking out outside noise… just make sure you’re not wearing them while out on the street, because you might not hear a friend shouting at you from across the street, or that car approaching! Happened to me before
