Chemical straightening?

Alrighty,

So my hair is a big poofball unless I straighten this. All my life until this year I’ve just been tying it back. The thing is, though, I have to straighten it every one or two nights! I’m pretty sick of doing this, and I know I won’t have time to in the summer.

I was wondering if I would be able to get my hair chemically straightened before the summer and have it last all summer? And then could I just straighten it w/ the straightener as it grows out?

I chemically straighten my hair. Be sure to go to a professional hair dresser that has worked with very curly to the root hair before. Once I get mine done it comes out PIN STRAIGHT! that part she straightens last for months. It will get curly again after you wash it enough times. However, the curl is a soft and very nice one. When you chemically straighten your hair, when your roots grow out, it is very hard to straighten them all with a flat iron so just go back to the salon and have them done each time they grow out.
Regardless of chemical straightening, you will still need a flat iron. Be sure to get a ceramic one that will not damage your hair so much, and do not use it whenever you don’t have to.
I recommend a SEDU, I have a CHI and I regret it because it sucks.
