Where would i get the lead for making fishing jigs?

I am tying to make fishing jigs from a mold but i need lead

Wheel weights and such have other metals added to them. The downside of using them for making jigs is that sometimes the collar and/or the barb, or smaller sizes heads, don’t come out. And a safety issue using “used” lead….one time my brother and I were melting down some wheel weights in the hot pot, getting ready to pour up a bunch of jig heads, when, due to some kind of impurity in the lead, the lead in the pot literally exploded, spewing molten lead on the walls and ceiling of my garage. Fortunately for us, we were out of the way of the flying lead. I had in the past, before this happened, bought lead from a plumbing supply store, but we were trying to get by cheap. I now buy all my lead from the plumbing supply store. It’s a 5lb. round ingot, and it’s not that expensive, and it’s pure lead. All the barbs and collars and small jig heads come out perfect.
